Skins Hub — Start Exploring R6 Marketplace Items Here

This hub is the front door to the skins side of the site: item categories, rarity tiers, the famous finishes, full collections — and the honest method behind every number we publish.

//- 01 - WHAT YOU CAN EXPLORE

WHAT YOU CAN EXPLORE FROM HERE

The Marketplace trades cosmetics — weapon skins, attachment skins, charms, headgear and uniforms — and nothing that affects gameplay. That sounds simple until you meet the sheer variety: thousands of items, released across years of seasons, events and shop rotations.

This section of the site exists to make that variety navigable. From here you can:

  • Browse items by category, so you understand what kinds of items exist before you value any single one.
  • Learn the rarity tiers, because rarity is one of the signals that shapes demand.
  • Read up on the finishes players look for, from Black Ice to universal skins.
  • Check whether an item you own can actually be sold, before you plan around selling it.
The whole skins landscape, one door.
//- 02 - THE LANDSCAPE

UNDERSTAND THE LANDSCAPE FIRST

  • Item Categories — the types of items the Marketplace handles, and how they differ.
  • Rarity Tiers — how Siege grades items, and what tiers do and do not tell you about demand.
  • Prices & Item Values — what actually moves an item’s value: rarity, distribution, supply and how thin the order book is.
  • Reading a Price — how to read the order book’s bids and asks without fooling yourself.
Understand the landscape first.
//- 03 - FINISHES AND SETS

THE FINISHES AND SETS PLAYERS LOOK FOR

  • Black Ice — the famous icy finish from Siege’s early seasons, and how its tradability really works.
  • Universal Skins — one finish that works across many weapons instead of a single gun.
  • Attachment Skins — finishes for sights, grips and other weapon parts.
  • Skins & Collections — how seasonal sets and collections are put together, and what that means for trading individual pieces.
  • Item Database — the reference pages for looking up items.
//- 04 - KEEP TRACK, HONESTLY

KEEP TRACK — HONESTLY

If you own items you care about, the Price Watchlist is where you keep them in one place. One honest note about how this site works: we publish no live price ticker and no “last sold” figures, because there is no public, checkable price feed for the Marketplace — numbers like that, on any site, would be invented or stale. Our Data-Status Legend explains exactly what each status on this site means, and What We Don’t Build explains why.

Two more things worth knowing before you trade anything. First, tradability is decided item by item — the card on your item is the final word, and our Can I Sell This? page walks the check through. Second, Ubisoft currently lists the Marketplace as temporarily closed, with no reopening date announced; everything here is written to stay useful for when it returns.

Track items — honestly.
//- 05 - THE FIVE-MINUTE ROUTE

A FIVE-MINUTE ROUTE THROUGH THE SECTION

If you are new here, you do not need to read everything — take the short route. Start at Item Categories so the vocabulary makes sense: weapon skins, attachment skins, charms, headgear, uniforms, and the quieter account-level cosmetics. Then read Rarity Tiers to learn what the bands do and do not promise. After that, pick the page that matches the question you actually have: a famous finish, a set you are completing, or an item of your own you want to check. Finish at Prices & Item Values, because everything in this section eventually comes back to the same question — what a thing is worth, and how anyone can honestly know. Five pages, in that order, will take you from “what kinds of items exist” to a defensible opinion about any skin you meet.

//- 06 - WHAT CHANGES

WHAT CHANGES, AND WHAT DOES NOT

The skins landscape is not static, and this section is written to be checked rather than memorised. Seasons add new items and make a fresh wave of older ones tradable. Events bring sets that then leave the shop. Ubisoft adjusts rules from time to time, and when it does, the pages here are updated against its official wording — the Data-Status Legend exists so you can see how solid each claim is while you read. What does not change is the structure underneath: cosmetics only, eligibility decided item by item on the card, trades through the order book, a 10% fee from the seller’s side, and a 15-day hold on anything newly acquired. Learn that frame once, and every new season’s items slot into it without surprises. If you come back to this hub after a season change, the route above still works — only the items waiting at the end of it will be new.

EXPLORING THE SKINS SECTION

With Item Categories and Rarity Tiers. Once you know what kinds of items exist and how they are graded, the finish and collection pages — and any item’s value — make much more sense.

Cosmetics only — weapon skins, attachment skins, charms, headgear and uniforms, plus quieter account-level cosmetics like operator portraits, card backgrounds and drone skins. Nothing that affects gameplay is traded.

The ones players look for most: Black Ice, the famous icy finish from Siege’s early seasons; universal skins, which work across many weapons; attachment skins for sights, grips and other parts; and full collections — seasonal sets and themed groups, and what set membership means when you trade individual pieces.

Take the short route: Item Categories so the vocabulary makes sense, then Rarity Tiers to learn what the bands do and do not promise, then the page that matches your actual question, and finish at Prices & Item Values — because everything in this section eventually comes back to what a thing is worth, and how anyone can honestly know.

The Item Database is the reference for looking up items and their details. If you own items you care about, the Price Watchlist is where you keep them in one place.

HONEST DATA, NO TICKER

No, deliberately. There is no public official price feed for the R6 Marketplace, and the Marketplace is currently closed, so a live ticker would be fabricated. We publish what stays true: what moves a price, and how to read the order book when trading is available.

Check the item’s own card in the game — it is the final word on tradability, set by Ubisoft item by item. Our Can I Sell This? page explains the check and the other rules that can block a listing, like the current-season lock and the 15-day resale hold.

Every claim is labelled. Our Data-Status Legend explains exactly what each status means, and What We Don’t Build explains why we publish no live price ticker and no “last sold” figures — numbers like that, on any site, would be invented or stale.

No. Ubisoft currently lists the Marketplace as temporarily closed, with no reopening date announced. Everything in this section is written to stay useful for when it returns.
