What Our Status Labels Mean

Every figure on this site carries a small status label, and it matters more than the figure. This page explains each label in plain language — so you always know how much trust a number deserves.

//- 01 - WHY WE LABEL EVERYTHING

WHY WE LABEL EVERYTHING

Most gaming sites print numbers with total confidence whether they have earned it or not. We work the other way. There is no public, checkable price feed for the R6 Marketplace, and much of what circulates about it is player reporting rather than official documentation. So every meaningful figure, rule and status on this site carries a label that says how solid it is. The label marks the difference between “Ubisoft says this” and “widely reported — check it yourself.” Read the label first, the number second.

Every figure carries its label.
//- 02 - THE LABELS, ONE BY ONE

THE LABELS, ONE BY ONE

  • Confirmed — the claim matches Ubisoft’s own published pages: its Marketplace help articles and official announcements. This is the strongest label we use, and the only one you should treat as settled. The 10% seller fee, the level 25 requirement, and the 15-day resale hold all sit here.
  • Reported — widely reported by players, press or community sources, and consistent with everything official, but not stated word-for-word in Ubisoft’s own text. Reported information is usually right; it is labelled anyway, because “usually” is not “always,” and because rules like these can change quietly. Verify anything that matters in game or on Ubisoft’s official help pages before acting on it.
  • Unverified — we could not confirm the claim against an official source, and we say so openly. Treat unverified material as background context only, never as the basis for a decision about your credits or account.
  • No feed connected — this label appears on our status and data displays, and it means exactly what it says: this site has no live data connection. Any figure shown beside it is reference material, not a live reading. If a number matters right now, the official Marketplace is the only place it can be checked.
//- 03 - THE MARKETPLACE STATUS

THE BIGGEST LABEL OF ALL: THE MARKETPLACE STATUS

One status sits above the labels, and we will never bury it. Ubisoft currently lists the Marketplace as temporarily closed while improvements are completed, and has announced no reopening date. Until Ubisoft says otherwise, everything on this site describes how the Marketplace works, for when it returns — not a market you can trade in today. Announced dates for a reopening, a relaunch season, or a native console version should be distrusted for the same reason: Ubisoft has confirmed none of them.

The biggest status of all.
//- 04 - HOW TO READ US

WHAT THE LABELS CHANGE ABOUT HOW YOU READ US

The labels are a reading tool. A confirmed rule can anchor a plan. A reported detail should make you careful — act on it if you like, but check it where it counts. An unverified figure is context, nothing more. And a “no feed connected” display should never be quoted to another player as the current state of anything. If you spot a figure or label that looks wrong, use the correction link below — we would rather fix a label than defend one.

//- 05 - HOW A CLAIM EARNS ITS LABEL

HOW A CLAIM EARNS ITS LABEL

Every label on this site is the end of a small process. We start with Ubisoft’s own words — the Marketplace help articles, the official announcements, the in-game text — because those are the only sources that can settle a rules question. If the claim matches them, it is Confirmed, and it stays Confirmed until Ubisoft publishes something newer. If no official text covers it, we look at how widely and consistently it is reported by players and press; strong, consistent reporting earns Reported, never more. Anything we cannot trace that far is Unverified, however often it is repeated. And when Ubisoft’s position changes — a rule updated, a status revised — the labels move with it. A label is a snapshot of the evidence, not a badge we award once and forget.

A label is earned, not awarded.
//- 06 - WHEN LABELS DISAGREE

WHEN OUR LABEL DISAGREES WITH ANOTHER SITE

It will happen: another site states as flat fact something we label Reported, or shows a live figure where we show “no feed connected.” Disagreement usually comes down to standards, not access — nobody outside Ubisoft has a private line to Marketplace data, because no public feed exists. When sources conflict, the order of trust we recommend is the order we use ourselves: Ubisoft’s official pages first, the state of the game itself second, consistent community reporting third, and single unsourced claims last. If a decision matters — credits you are about to spend, an account you are about to change — take the extra minute to check it at the top of that ladder. That habit protects you on every site, including this one.

THE LABELS EXPLAINED

No — it means it hasn’t been confirmed word-for-word by Ubisoft. Reported details are generally consistent with player experience. The label exists so you know which kind of certainty you’re dealing with before you act on it.

CHECKING THINGS YOURSELF

Because there isn’t one to connect. Ubisoft publishes no public price stream that sites like this can plug into. Anyone displaying “live” R6 prices is using stale data or inventing numbers — we chose labels instead.

On Ubisoft’s official channels — its Rainbow Six Siege help pages and announcements are the final word on access, fees and availability. Use this site for the plain-English version, then verify anything you’re about to act on against the official source.
