R6 Marketplace Eligibility Checker: Can Your Account Trade?

Answer five quick questions to see whether your account meets Ubisoft’s published trading requirements — and exactly what to fix if something is missing. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere.

Account Eligibility Checker

The account-level question: can you trade at all? Five conditions, and it names the one blocking you.

Your account

The clearance level on your profile, not your rank.

25 is the commonly documented threshold. Editable, because requirements move.

Set in your publisher account security settings, not in the game.

Every condition, checked

    Formula

    any "Blocks" → cannot trade yet
    else any "Check" → unconfirmed
    else             → eligible

    Example: level 25 with 2FA unconfirmed and everything else clear returns "Unconfirmed" — nothing is blocking you, but one answer is still a guess.

    This has no connection to any publisher API and cannot see your account. It applies documented rules to answers you give it.

    //- 01 - HOW IT WORKS

    HOW IT WORKS

    1. Answer five Yes/No questions. Clearance level 25 or higher, 2-Step Verification active on your Ubisoft account, an account in good standing, a web browser you can open the Marketplace with — and, for sellers, whether your item has cleared its 15-day resale hold.
    2. The checker compares your answers with the requirements Ubisoft publishes. Nothing is guessed and nothing is looked up — the rules are the ones Ubisoft states in its own access documentation.
    3. You get one plain verdict. Ready, not yet — with the blocking condition named and its fix — or account-ready with an item that still has to wait out its hold. Change any answer and the verdict updates straight away.

    //- 02 - HOW TO READ YOUR RESULT

    HOW TO READ YOUR RESULT

    • “Ready” means ready when the Marketplace reopens. Ubisoft currently lists the Marketplace as temporarily closed, with no reopening date announced — so even a perfect score cannot trade today. It means there is nothing left for you to fix.
    • “Not yet” names every missing condition, in order. Each one comes with the exact fix — raise your clearance level, switch on 2-Step Verification, wait out a sanction, or simply use a browser. Work through the list, then run the check again.
    • “Item wait” is not an account problem. Your account passes; the 15-day resale hold on one item is the only thing in the way, and it lifts on its own.
    • This is a self-check for guidance only. It cannot look inside your account — only Ubisoft can confirm your account’s real status.

    //- 03 - WHEN TO USE THIS CHECKER

    WHEN TO USE THIS CHECKER

    Run it the first time you set up for trading, and again any time your sign-in situation changes — a new phone, a fresh authenticator app, a changed email — because 2-Step Verification is the condition most likely to have quietly switched off in the background. Run it when you come back to Siege after a long break, since recent XP-earning activity is part of the access rules and a returning account may need fresh matches before it counts. And run it before you plan a first listing around a date: the verdict tells you whether there is anything left to fix, so the planning rests on fact rather than hope.

    Five gates between you and trading.
    //- 04 - A WORKED EXAMPLE

    A WORKED EXAMPLE

    Example (illustrative). A player answers honestly: clearance level 31 — yes. Recent match activity — yes, played this week. Account in good standing — yes. Browser available — yes. But 2-Step Verification — no: they changed phones last month and never re-enabled it on the new device. The verdict is “Not yet”, with exactly one blocker named and its fix spelled out: switch 2-Step Verification back on in the Ubisoft account settings. They do that, run the checker again, and now every answer is yes — “Ready”, which means ready for when trading returns, because the Marketplace itself is still temporarily closed. One question, one fix, no guessing about which of the five conditions was the problem.

    Coming back after time away.
    //- 05 - COMMON MISTAKES

    COMMON MISTAKES

    • Confusing your rank with your clearance level. They are different numbers. Ranked standing does not count toward access; the requirement is a clearance level of 25 or higher on the account.
    • Assuming verification set up long ago is still on. 2-Step Verification has to be active now, not merely enabled once in the past. Device changes are the classic way it lapses without the player noticing.
    • Assuming console players are shut out. The Marketplace is a website tied to the Ubisoft account. PlayStation and Xbox players use it through a browser, exactly as PC players do — there is simply no in-game console version.
    • Reading “Ready” as “you can trade today.” Ready means your account clears every published condition. While Ubisoft keeps the Marketplace temporarily closed, nobody can trade, ready or not.
    One lock left to open.
    //- 06 - GOOD TO KNOW

    GOOD TO KNOW

    Trading on the R6 Marketplace is tied to your Ubisoft account, not your device, and four conditions need to be in place before your first trade: a Siege clearance level of 25 or higher; 2-Step Verification switched on and active — Ubisoft’s own name for its two-factor sign-in protection; an account in good standing, with no active ban or sanction; and a web browser, because the Marketplace is a website. PC and console players alike open it in a browser — there is no version of the Marketplace inside the game on console. Recent XP-earning match activity is part of Ubisoft’s access rules too. On the selling side, remember the item rule: anything you have just acquired sits under a 15-day resale hold before it can be listed. These rules are Ubisoft’s and they can change, so verify the current position on Ubisoft’s official pages before you rely on them.

    Two doors, one right answer.

    Straight answers

    The Access Requirements

    Ubisoft’s published rules ask for all of these at once: a Siege clearance level of 25 or higher; 2-Step Verification active on your Ubisoft account; recent XP-earning match activity; and an account in good standing. You also need a web browser, because the Marketplace is a website rather than part of the game client.

    It is Ubisoft’s name for its two-factor sign-in protection — a second proof it is you, on top of your password. You switch it on in your Ubisoft account’s security settings, and it has to be active now, not merely enabled once in the past: device changes are the classic way it quietly lapses.

    No — they are different numbers, and ranked standing does not count toward access. The requirement is a clearance level of 25 or higher on the account, so check that figure before assuming you qualify.

    Yes. Recent XP-earning match activity is part of Ubisoft’s access rules in its own right, separate from the level requirement. If you are returning after a long break, your level may be fine while your activity is not — playing fresh matches is the only way to put that right.

    That there is no active ban or sanction on the account. Ubisoft’s access rules require it alongside the other conditions, and there is no workaround inside this checker — a sanction has to run its course before the account can pass.

    Your Result and What to Fix

    That your answers clear every published condition — there is nothing left for you to fix. It is not a guarantee: this is a self-check for guidance only, and only Ubisoft can confirm your account’s real status.

    Because Ubisoft has temporarily closed the Marketplace while it makes improvements, with no reopening date announced. Getting eligible now means you are ready the moment trading returns.

    Work through the blockers the verdict names, in order — each one comes with its exact fix, whether that is raising your clearance level, switching 2-Step Verification back on, or waiting out a sanction. Then run the check again: one fixed answer can be the difference between “Not yet” and “Ready”.

    No. Everything runs on this page, nothing is sent or saved, and no website can look inside your Ubisoft account — only Ubisoft can confirm your account’s status.

    Yes — through a browser. The Marketplace is a website linked to your Ubisoft account, so console players open it in a browser instead of inside the game. Ubisoft has announced no in-game console version and no date for one.
