Privacy Policy: What This Site Collects, and Why
This is an information site — no accounts, no checkout, no trading. This page explains, in plain terms, what information is collected when you read it, what cookies do here, and the choices you have.
//- 01 - WHAT WE COLLECT
WHAT WE COLLECT
Very little, and nothing you would expect from a shop or a service. This site has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no checkout and no payment processing, so we never collect names, passwords, payment details or anything similar through the site itself.
What is collected is the ordinary technical information every website receives when a browser visits it:
- Usage and device information. Pages visited, approximate location at country or region level, browser and device type, and how a visitor arrived (for example, from a search engine). This reaches us in aggregated, statistical form, not as a profile of an identifiable person.
- Server logs. Like any website, our hosting keeps standard logs (such as IP addresses and timestamps) for security and to keep the site running.
- Anything you send us. If you contact us through the site’s published routes, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message — which is why we ask readers to send page URLs and descriptions of problems, not personal details.

//- 02 - HOW WE USE IT
HOW WE USE IT
The information above is used for three purposes only: to run the site (security, error-fixing, keeping pages fast), to understand which guides and tools readers actually use so we can improve them, and to respond to messages readers send us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not build profiles of individual readers to sell or rent to anyone.
//- 03 - COOKIES
COOKIES
Cookies are small files a browser stores so a website and its partners can remember things between pages. This site uses cookies in the ordinary ways:
- Essential cookies. Set by the site and its infrastructure so pages load securely and correctly.
- Analytics cookies. These help us count visits and see which pages are read, in aggregate. They are how we know a guide is popular or a page is being ignored.
- Advertising cookies. This site is supported by third-party advertising. Advertising partners may set their own cookies to serve ads, to limit how often the same ad is shown, and to measure and, in some cases, personalise advertising. Those cookies are controlled by the advertising partners under their own privacy policies, not by us.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site’s guides and tools will still work, though advertising may become less relevant and some measurement will simply stop.
//- 04 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We rely on third-party services for analytics and advertising, and links on this site lead to external websites — above all Ubisoft’s official pages, which we point readers to deliberately. We do not control those external sites, and their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. When you follow a link off this site, this policy no longer applies.
Some of our tools run entirely in your browser. Where a tool lets you enter figures — prices, item values, kills and deaths — that maths happens on your own device; the numbers are not accounts, are not tied to your Ubisoft account, and are not something we ask you to register or sign in to use.

//- 05 - YOUR CHOICES
YOUR CHOICES
- Cookies. Block, limit or delete them through your browser settings; most browsers also offer a private or “do not track” mode.
- Advertising choices. Many advertising partners offer opt-out controls for personalised advertising through industry opt-out pages in your region.
- What you send us. You choose what to include in any message. For corrections, a page URL and a description of the problem are enough — please do not send passwords, verification codes or account details; we never need them, and real support never asks for them either.
//- 06 - CHANGES
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If how this site works changes — new features, new partners, new kinds of data — this page will be updated to match, and the updated version will be the one that applies. We will not quietly widen what is collected while this page says otherwise.
//- 07 - CONTACT
CONTACT
Questions about this policy, or about information connected to you on this site, can be sent through the route on our Submit a Correction page — use it for privacy questions as well as content corrections, and we will route it accordingly. Please do not include passwords or verification codes in any message.
